Ibotta is one of my favorite apps. You get cash back for shopping. No, really. Ibotta has tons of stores, and lots of rebates at each store. When you buy the items listed, you submit your receipt and they add the cash to your account. You can then add the money to your PayPal or redeem it for a giftcard at several stores. I’ve made $145 so far.

Jane Iredale review

I really enjoy this Jane Iredale Kit. The two powder foundations have pretty decent coverage without looking too powdery or cakey. I still prefer to use a liquid foundation and use these powders to set with, but you can totally wear them alone. The blush is pretty and pigmented with just the right amount of sheen. The lightest eyeshadow is perfect to highlight the brow bone or inner corner. The darker shade looks more gray than purple when swatched. I think it works best as a lid shade when applied with a wet brush. All the powder products have decent staying power as well. The lip and cheek tint looks orange, but comes off as a pretty pink on my lips. I personally wouldn’t use it on my cheeks though. The brushes are not something I’d use because I have others that I like better. I like that this brand has ingredients that are beneficial to the skin as well. I think with a little concealer and mascara, this could be the perfect travel companion for a fresh, pretty look. I received this item for free, but all opinions are my own.

Motts 100% Juice Pouches

We received another mission from My Magazine Sharing Network. This time we received a coupon for a free pack of Motts 100% Juice Pouches courtesy of Kroger stores. We’ve been buying Motts juices for years now, but I never even knew they had pouches. These pouches are super convenient. I can just throw a few in my bag and take them on the go. That way my kids have a drink wherever we are. And as you can see, my son loves the flavor. And I love that these are 100% juice. These were a big hit in our house and we’ll be picking up for more for sure.

I received these items free for review purposes, but all opinions are my own.

A review of Private Selection foods

My Magazine Sharing Network sent me some new products free courtesy of Kroger brand stores. This time it was Private Selection Texas inspired BBQ kettle potato chips and Green Chilli Ranch seasoning.

The chips are super crunchy. They had a nice BBQ taste with an almost citrusy hint to them. I can definitely taste the tomato in them as well. The seasoning was delicious. We sprinkled some on some chicken wings and grilled them. They were super tasty and the whole family gobbled them down.

We’ve bought stuff from this brand before, and definitely will again.

These are some of my most recent freebies.

Sample source box, Water Wipes from an Influenster Twitter party, Dove samples, Motts Apple Juice pouches from My Magazine Sharing Network, and Loreal BzzAgent mission

Water Wipes Review

I recently received these Water Wipes free from Influenster for testing purposes. These wipes are chemical free and contain only water and grapefruit seed extract. These wipes work well for cleaning. They were super moist, and best of all, they didn’t irritate my baby’s sensitive skin. The sample packaging isn’t the best quality, and these are a little pricier than other wipes we’ve tried. All in all, I though these were really nice. I think if you have a child with super sensitive skin, these would be worth looking into. They’re available online at Target and Walmart.

I received these items for free, but all opinions are my own.

Free Kroger items

image¬†When I signed up for a site called My Magazine Sharing Network, I wasn’t sure what kind of stuff I’d be getting. My first package was some free, food samples from Kroger brands and a bunch of coupons to share. The Simple Truth organic popcorn was devoured in seconds by myself and my son. It was really tasty with a nice texture. The Private Selection chocolate pretzel bark was delicious. It was rich with the right amounts of salty, sweet, bitter, and crunch. The Kroger chocolate lava cake didn’t turn out so good. I don’t think I had the right pan, so it was spongy and overdone. I’d try it again though because it was so easy. I haven’t redeemed my coupons yet, because I keep forgetting them at home.

Overall, I’m super happy with this site and I look forward to trying more stuff and learning more about the brands from Kroger.
